Lavender lemonade is one of my favorite twists on a classic summer drink! Super fragrant and refreshing, perfect for those afternoons when you’re really thirsty or when you want to enjoy a hot afternoon with friends around the pool. In fact they’ll be asking you for the recipe!
Yes it’s absolutely packed full of sugar so it’s a good idea to save it for a special occasion- but I’d gladly give up sweets to drink this, because it comes nutrient packed with the benefits of Terpenes and Essential Oils.
Here’s the recipe!
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar or honey
- 1 tbsp. of dried lavender or 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 cup lemon juice
- Ice cubes
(For an extra boost of vitality – we recommend adding in a dose of water soluble CBD!)
In a large saucepan bring water and sugar to a boil, remove from heat; add lavender. Cover and let cool for an hour. Strain (if using dried flowers) stir in cold water and lemon juice. Add ice.
The method is simple, just make sure that you allow the sugar to cool before adding in lemon juice. Enjoy!
